Stuff is great
I’ve been using this stuff for years. I love it & I plan to keep using it.
It tastes great by itself & mixes well with most other supplement powders. I have noticed it helps my digestion if my stomach feels a bit off. But primarily I use it pre-workout or mid-workout to enhance fat burning. Keep in mind this won’t help you lose weight if you working out HARD. If you are doing low intensity exercise or none at all, this won’t help you burn fat. It will simply enhance your fat burning capacity if you are getting your heart rate up. So the more calories you burn in one session the more you will notice a mild enhancement. Although it is not the most powerful fat burning supp, I consider it be the safest & healthiest, since most others rely on stimulants &/or thermogenic effects. I did not like how my body felt on those so I quit taking them.
However, I do also use caffeine anhydrous, green tea extract, and green coffee bean extract with the L-Carnitine. My caffeine levels are not too high, even with drinking tea daily. I would say more or less the same thing about all these other supplements as I say of the L-Carnitine. If you aren’t exercising and regulating your diet you won’t lose weight. All of these things just support your hard work & discipline. They aren’t a substitute for it by any means.

I have literally been using this for years. I always take a half of a medicine cup before every activity to help move fat into energy. I’m not sure if there is a placebo effect or if this is actually working. All I know is that when I do take this before activities, I usually have a higher stamina and quicker recovery in between sets. If I do not take it, I typically tend to burn out faster and do not recover as well in between sets.
I had been out of the gym for about 4 years and I started taking this again when I decided to go back. I had not trained legs much over that time and was able to go back and quickly, I mean within a months time, build back up to leg pressing 1000 lbs. all I took was a multivitamin, protein and fish oils, and was able to reach this milestone again in no time.
This has always been a supplement that I have used and will continue to do so.

Tastes good, nice size.
If you take the recommended dose twice a day you’ll want the 32 oz. size. I feel like the liquid is more easily absorbed than pills, like the taste and price of the NOW product, and have used it frequently in losing the 40 lb I’ve lost so far.

a good product with reasonable price
When I bought this product couple of months ago, it was very reasonable with the price for a 16 oz. bottle. This price is no longer the same. As the result, I had to purchase the 32 oz. sized bottle to pay less.
However, the taste and the lemon flavor of the product are consistently pleasant… better than some of the other liquid L-Carnitine brands I had taken before. I also feel energetic with this same dosage of 1,000mg instead of the 1,500mg from other products.

I am disappointed in this product although the 3000mg seems to work, digest and absorb better and taste a lot better. This product tastes well enough yet I wasted the money I could have spent instead upon the 3K version. Know better now.

Good but late
I bought this because the one I usually buy at Walmart wasn’t available. It took longer than expected to arrive so I did buy the Walmart one agin because it became available in the mean time. It’s just “ok”. The cheaper one at Walmart has better results for weight loss.
